William Maniaci
Founder of Mini League
William Maniaci is the creator of Mini League, built around a simple idea: bring kids together through the game of baseball while encouraging a healthy balance with other sports, outdoor adventures, and, most importantly, time in the ocean. Now in its fifth year, Mini League has worked with hundreds of kids throughout the local community, teaching the fundamentals of baseball while creating an environment where kids can learn, compete, build friendships, and most importantly, have fun. William's goal is to keep kids active, passionate about sports, and enjoying everything that comes with growing up in a beach community.

Gio Brusa
Pro Baseball Veteran
Gio is a switch-hitter from Lodi, California. At University of Pacific he led the team in AVG, OBP, SLG%, and RBIs. In 2016, the Giants drafted Gio in the 6th round, and in 2018 he and a San Jose teammate both hit for the cycle in the same game — a place in Cooperstown and the record books as the first teammate duo to do it. He reached Triple-A with Sacramento in 2019, and has played 10 seasons in professional baseball. Now, Gio resides in Laguna Beach, coaching the next generation of baseball players.

Andrew Kezerle
My name is Andrew Kezerle. I am 22 years old, and I was blessed with the opportunity to play baseball for 13 years, finishing my playing career with one season at the junior college level. I played all three outfield positions and somehow found a way to have six triples and zero doubles my junior season in high school. Throughout those 13 years, I was fortunate to have great coaches, teammates, and experiences that created wonderful memories. More importantly, baseball taught me the importance of hard work, discipline, and staying calm in every situation. I am grateful for how God used the game of baseball to teach me qualities that I can carry with me into everyday life.
